Eastern Seaboard Development Plan commences‌

Marking an important step in harnessing the nation’s natural gas resources from the Gulf of Thailand, Prime Minister Prem Tinsulanonda laid foundation stones for five multi-billion-baht petrochemical projects and the Thai CRT Company.

The construction of the petrochemical complex, covering an area of 1,080 rai in the Map Ta Phut Industrial Estate, was set to cost more than 16 billion baht and to create 30,000 jobs.
