Khao Yai National Park opens to public

Khao Yai National Park opened, offering gorgeous scenery, waterfalls, caves, rare wild animals and beautiful flora.

Growing population density and increasingly modern lifestyles made national parks crucial for the country, according to the government. One section of the park was reserved for wildlife, another for endangered plants and trees, while a third was for the public, said Agriculture Minister Gen Surajit Charusreni, who chaired the park’s development committee.
