By 2009, Starbucks Coffee (Thailand), a wholly owned subsidiary of Starbucks Coffee International, had opened 133 retail outlets in provinces across the country, including Chiang Mai, Phuket, Hua Hin, Ko Samui, Pattaya, Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen and Ubon Ratchathani. The company celebrated the opening of its 100th store in October 2007.
